Open finder from xterminal or X11 or Xquartz

in linux, I find a easy way to open a GUI with

   nautilus --browser &

it is so useful for my work,  because I always need to open a directory to search files or edit it and I have got used to the desktop instead of the terminal.
Now, in macbook, I tried the same way. I install the nautilus with macport. There are something wrong at first, but I fixed it with two commands.
    (forget the first command)
    launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist
Then  it seems to work. but totally bad view.

Now, what is the best way to complete this work?  One command is enough:
     OPEN
You can use open to open any directories with finder! Just use like this
     open ~/Desktop/
